BRING YOUR CHESS CLOCK! 🕦🕦

Every last Tuesday of the month, our club hosts a rated Game-10 chess tournament in the Swiss format. However, you do NOT have to be a member of the USCF to participate. You will play four ten-minute games. The entry fee is $5. A win will net you $2.50, and a draw will get you $1.25.

There are always other players available for non-tournament, casual play, so feel free to come to the club, even if you do not wish to play in the tournament. Registration begins at 6:45.

BRING YOUR CHESS CLOCK! 🕦🕦 ... if you have a functional chess clock, then please bring it along. If not, no worries. There will still be enough clocks for the tournament.

THE G/60 TOURNAMENT that was being played on first Tuesdays, is no more! Cancelled, not merely postponed. Done. Finished. First Tuesdays are back to "normal" casual chess nights with the Westport Chess Club at the Westport Flea Market. (Casual chess nights are FUN, and you can try out your favorite crappy openings ... for free!)
