Our monthly G/10 tournament has been cancelled. We don't have our usual room tomorrow night, and it has been decided that there is too much chaos by the pool tables and other games to try to conduct a rated chess event!
HOWEVER, that means we will still meet at the same time on Tuesday, for another Casual Chess Night! Chess sets and clocks will arrive at, or shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Casual chess nights are great for trying out new openings, without the risk of losing spare change and/or rating points as a result of playing horrid moves in unfamiliar territory 😱
