Every 1st Tuesday of the month, our club will host a rated Game-60 "single game" per night event. You have to be a member of the USCF to participate. Each player will have 60 minutes to make their moves. You will play only ONE game per night, up to 3 games per quarter, 12 games per year. Sections will be created according to your USCF regular rating. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE! Registration begins at 6:30 p.m.
Winners to be determined on a per quarter / per year basis. Prizes (?) yet to be determined, but this is NOT a cash event, so your usual $2.00 attendance fee ($1.00 for students) is sufficient for each evening you attend and participate.
As usual, casual games will be happening, but please keep the noise down out of courtesy for the tournament participants.
Club Board Elections!
There is to be a meeting this Tuesday, June 23, 2015, during regular club hours, for the purpose of electing Westport Chess Club board members. This has not happened in over 4 years, and your attendance is highly encouraged,. We hope to see you then at the Westport Flea market!
