Fun sushi-themed chess tournament with $500 in prizes!
Sunday, August 3rd, 6p - 9p at: Edokko Japanese Cuisine and Bar, 8615 Hauser Ct, Lenexa, KS 66215 NOT rated, 3 rounds of G/20: The 1st round is played WITH SUSHI AS CHESS PIECES on a special rubber mat, and all moves must be made using chopsticks. Then there will be a 30-min. break to eat your sushi and drink saki. The 2nd and 3rd rounds are played w/ regulation chess pieces and boards. $55 entry fee - a 16-piece sushi meal and saki are included in that price. Prizes for 1st - 3rd place.
